It all began with...
passion – a passion for music, teaching, and nurturing talent. In 2010, that passion was brought to life. Professor Stefan Wojtas and Joanna Wojtas – father and daughter in private life, musicians and educators by profession, but also people with big hearts – decided to establish a foundation to provide financial support to young, gifted musicians and help them take their first steps onto the stages of concert halls.
Together with Bożena Breksa, Agnieszka Draus, and Klementyna Górka, they founded the Pro Musica Bona Foundation.
Over the past 15 years,
the Foundation’s scholarship recipients have included many now-renowned young artists such as Michał Balas, Julia Błachuta, Łukasz Dyczko, Rozalia Kierc, Krzysztof Książek, Aleksandra Kuls, Jakub Kuszlik, Krzysztof Michalski,Szymon Nehring, Jakub Staszel, Hubert Zapiór, and many others.
The Foundation’s work focuses on three main pillars:

Awarding special scholarships to the most outstanding students selected by the Board of Founders and the Foundation’s Management;

Promoting their talents through concerts and online platforms;
03
Co-financing the purchase of instruments and participating in masterclasses and instrumental competitions.
We raise funds by organizing cultural events, educational concerts for children and
youth, and seminars for teachers, as well as through projects supported by the
Ministry of Culture and National Heritage
